Terms of Use
Effective 4 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Zidni app. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.
Using Zidni
- Zidni offers daily journeys, the Qur'an with recitation and tafsir, prayer times, the Qibla, adhkar, du'a and a private journal, for your personal, non-commercial use.
- Please don't misuse the app: don't try to break or reverse-engineer it, don't copy its content for commercial use, and don't use it to harm anyone.
Religious content
- Zidni shows a source for every religious text: the Qur'an text comes from the Tanzil Project, adhkar from Hisn al-Muslim, and hadith are cited with their collection and number.
- Reflections and journeys are written to help you reflect and build good habits. They are not fatwas. For questions of fiqh, please ask a qualified scholar you trust.
- If you notice a mistake in a text or a source, please tell us at jebariayman8@gmail.com and we will review it.
Prayer times and the Qibla
Prayer times are calculated from your location and the calculation method chosen in Settings, and can differ from your local mosque by a few minutes. When they differ, please follow your local mosque or official authority. The Qibla compass depends on your iPhone's sensors and can be affected by magnets or metal nearby.
Zidni Premium subscriptions
- Zidni is free to download. Zidni Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) bought through your Apple Account.
- The price is shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Free trial: when offered, eligible users can try the yearly plan free for 7 days. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- The Qur'an, prayer times, the Qibla and the core adhkar are free and never need a subscription.
Your content
Your journal and notes belong to you and stay on your device. Keeping a backup of your iPhone is your responsibility.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Zidni available and accurate, but the app is provided "as is" and features may change. We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Zidni is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
